We are a Husband and Wife team whose start in this business came in May 2003. This start came with thanks to our eldest daughter Stacey.
She asked for a karaoke party for her 16th birthday.
Song Quest was born.
Little did she know then what she was starting.
The first equipment we used was very basic, but we still managed to produce something of reasonable quality to put on a Karaoke show.
The venue our daughters party was held in, was The Star p/h,
in the village of Steeple, Essex
We became resident hosts at The Star hosting Karaoke on most Fridays with Disco on the occasional Saturday.
It was this that over a number of months gave us the experience and confidence to invest and grow our business.
We will always be grateful to Martin & Jenny, Landlords of the Star for the opportunity they gave us ...
and for some of the great evenings we had with them.
Since our days at The Star we have worked hard and invested heavily to reach where we are today.
